The EPHS has Assessment Procedures with a shift from memory tests based on rote learning to conceptual assessments. There is stress on continuous ongoing assessments.

Pre-Primary

Informal assessment is the ongoing everyday appraisal of a child’s progress in school. Whether the activity involves reading, writing, listening, speaking or viewing in any subject, it is an opportunity for informal assessment. You can informally assess children individually or in groups, you can look at critical and creative responses to literature, and can watch for developing skills and strategies. assessment worksheets should be given in small groups. Kindergarten levels one assessment may take two to three days as a part of regular class time table.

Junior Primary (Grade I to III)

Only Formative & Summative assessment are taken during the regular routine of a day and regular school timings are followed.  one hour for each assessment is allocates for each subject. Regular class activities are to be carried out after the competition of an assessment. No Regular date sheet and syllabus are given. Till 2022 this assessment system will apply on Primary level.

Grade (IV – VII)

Throughout exams marks along with overall performance in homework and class, projects, assignments marks include in Annual Result.

Grade (VIII- IX – X)

Students of Grade VIII appear in Punjab Education Commission (P.E.C) Exams and Students of Grade 9th and 10th Appears in Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (B.I.S.E) Exams. Trial examinations are held in preparation for the final examination during & after course coverage.

Controller Examination

Controller Examination is responsible for developing Assessments / Examination and ensures uniformity in syllabus coverage as well as the marking process. Each campus has developed its own examination cell to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
